This standard specifies the structural forms, technical requirements, materials, test methods and inspections of steel gate valves, globe valves (including throttle valves) and check valves (hereinafter referred to as "valves") with a nominal size not greater than DN100 for the oil and gas industry Rules, marking, packaging and storage and transportation requirements.

This standard is applicable to flange end valves with nominal pressure PN20, PN50, PN100, PN250 and nominal size DN8~DNl00.

This standard applies to valves with nominal pressure PN140, PN250 and nominal size DN8～DN65 with socket welding or threaded ends.

This standard applies to valves with butt-welded ends with nominal pressure PN20-PN250 and nominal size DN8-DN100.

This standard applies to gate valves and globe valves with bellows stem sealing structure.

Note: Nominal pressure PN20 is equivalent to Class150, nominal pressure PN50 is equivalent to Class300, nominal pressure PN100 is equivalent to Class600, nominal pressure PN140 is equivalent to Class800, and nominal pressure PN250 is equivalent to Class1500.
